Hey everyone. Hope you are all well and ready to "advocate"! We are going to meet at the Hoover’s house next Saturday (5-19) at 6:00pm. We'll have burgers and dogs so come hungry. We're going to see the power point presentation on the Myrtle Beach trip, talk about our speeches, watch a little "Life Goes On" and decide what each one wants on their "business" cards. What is Down Syndrome? |

Down syndrome is a chromosome disorder which usually causes a delay in physical, intellectual and language development. The degree to which each individual is affected varies widely. The exact causes of Down syndrome are currently unknown, and although there are prenatal tests that can detect Down syndrome, there is at this time no method for prevention and no cure. |
