The Down Syndrome Association of the Lowcountry
is Truly Endeared to the Life of Grace
Feingold
by Robin
Smith
Grace Feingold brought to our community a family
that is dedicated to happiness and set an example never
to settle for second best. Their dedication to learn and
teach others about Down syndrome will benefit our
churches, schools and hospitals for generations to
come.
The Down Syndrome Association of the Lowcountry
is grateful for the life of Grace. She brought to the
young children of our community a breath of hope that one
day all of our children will be expected to achieve, to
be accpeted and to be included.
Grace is our champion, her presence in our work
for the success of people with Down syndrome will last
forever. She leaves a message for new moms and dads not
to be afraid, but to celebrate. To embrace Gods gift and
follow their hearts - to be a light in the world and show
through both word and deed the value of
individuals.
Grace was a blessing, the children and adults
with Down syndrome and their families will continue to
share Grace's memory and celebrate her life in a way that
will benefit our entire community.
