 Purple Tutu will bring the artistry of ballet to dancers with Down Syndrom
 e\, by providing free classes at the Charleston Dance Institute.\nThe Purp
 le Tutu’s mission is to encourage dancers that they are capable of classic
 al dance training from a unifying experience. In 2014\, the founder\, Holl
 and Mcdowell took action to achieve this goal. “Going into it\, I was expe
 cting to see improvements in physical ability. What I didn’t realize was t
 he potential for the dancers to gain confidence\, learn respect\, and deve
 lop discipline\,” said Mcdowell.\nVolunteers\, children 4-10 and their fam
 ilies are welcomed to the thirty minute practice every Monday at 4 PM in s
 tudio\, which is located at 494 Wando Park Boulevard\, Mount Pleasant\, SC
  29464.\nParticipants are advised to wear sweatpants/ yoga pants\, a t-shi
 rt\, and bare feet. The tutus will be provided for class use.\nIf you woul
